Road Cycling Holidays
La Manga Club is located in a road cycling paradise. The Murcian roads surrounding the resort provide a perfect training ground for the road cyclist for the perfect cycling holiday. Bike hire is via our specialist partners at Biking La Manga who are based on the resort, they are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about cycling, friendly and English speaking . They will expertly fit the bike to your measurements from the best selection of road bikes for rent in the region, with models from Dolan, Specialized, Bottechia and BH. Helmets are provided for your safety. Bikes can be fitted with Shimano or Look clipless pedals and they can be delivered direct to your villa upon request – all you have to do is pack your shoes!
Mountain Biking Holidays
Located in the foothills between the Mar Menor and the Mediteranean there are plenty of mountain bike trails right on the doorstep of La Manga Resort. Trails and mountain bikes to suit different levels are available from intermediate to advanced. There are also mountain bikes suitable for resort use.
Mountain bike hire is also via our specialist partners at Biking La Manga, who are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about cycling, friendly and English speaking.
Family Biking Holidays
With the children in tow a family cycling holiday is a fantastic opportunity to spend quality time with the whole family whilst enjoying the fresh air, beautiful scenery and picturesque surroundings of La Manga Club and the Murcia region. From teenagers to trailers and toddlers in baby seats it will be an activity that the family will enjoy together.
Even if you are an experienced rider, cycling with your family has its own rewards. The knowledge that your children will be getting fit, interacting with nature, building their confidence and most importantly having fun.
Our specialist partners at Biking La Manga offer something for the whole family. Their rental fleet includes all sizes of childrens bikes as well as child trailers, children’s seats as well as tagalongs. They are helpful, knowledgeable and English speaking. They maintain all the bikes themselves, ensuring all equipment is of the highest standard. They provide helmets and will deliver the bikes to your villa or apartment upon request.
For children they offer the following options
Child seat – minimum age 18months, maximum weight 22 kg
Child trailer – seat 2 children – minimum age 18 months
12 wheel balance bike – recommended 2 to 3 years
12″ wheel single speed (with optional stabilisers) – recommended 3 to 4 years
16″ wheel single speed (with optional stabilisers) – recommended 4 to 5 years
20″ wheel with gears – recommended 5 to 8 years (they also have 20″ wheel tag along bikes that attach to the adult bike)
24″ wheel with gears – recommended 8 to 12 years
