At Just Resorts, we’d like your holiday on La Manga Club to be as perfect as possible. Please take a little time to read the following important information. It will help you to find out about every aspect of your holiday from your private villa or apartment to our resort services and safety advice. If you need advice on something that has not been covered here, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
All our properties are privately owned and furnished to each owner’s individual taste, so no two properties are alike. We always aim to give a detailed description of each property and show interior and exterior photographs to help you make the right choice. Please note that in some cases, the furniture in the lounge or dining areas may not be able to accommodate everyone who is staying in the property at the same time. The facilities in each property are in line with Spanish norms and whilst we take every care to achieve the highest standards of safety, the regulations may not be of the same level as the UK.
Our FREE concierge service is available to assist with pre-booking activities such as golf, tennis lessons and spa treatments with La Manga Club SL.
Water, electricity and gas consumption are included in the cost of your rental along with a cleaning service. Please note, the resort occasionally suffers from water or electricity shortages and supplies can be cut off without notice. The electricity may also trip if too many appliances are used at the same time. Please be patient while the services are being restored. As you will appreciate, these situations are unfortunately out of our control.
Air conditioning and heating
The majority of our properties have air conditioning and this is included in the high season price. If your property has air conditioning and you require it outside high season, a charge will apply for certain categories of property. If you have not paid for this prior to your arrival it can be paid locally. Details of any additional charges will be stated in the property description.
Arrivals and departures
Your accommodation will be clean and ready for you to move in from 4.00pm onwards. To make sure we are prepared for the next guests to arrive, please vacate the property no later than 10.30am on the day of your departure. Please take this into consideration when booking flights or other travel arrangements as arrivals prior to this time must wait until 4.00pm to gain entry.
As properties are privately owned it is possible that building work may take place near your accommodation at any time during the year. While such work may be undertaken by a third party over whom we have no control, we will endeavour to let you know in advance of any major work taking place and offer alternative accommodation if possible. Should any unexpected work take place, please accept our sincere apologies.
You can also book your car hire for the duration of your holiday through our preferred partner at Economy Bookings. Cars are collected at Murcia or Alicante airports on arrival and returned at the end of your holiday. The car hire prices quoted include unlimited mileage, CDW with an excess of 750 Euro and all local taxes. The car will have a full tank of fuel on collection and should be returned with a full tank. This is a third party service and terms and conditions apply.
Please do not leave your children unsupervised at any time during your holiday. You should also take extra care in properties with balconies and private swimming pools, as well as community pool areas. Parents are responsible for the actions of their children at all times.
Cots and high-chairs
La Manga Club Resort can provide a baby/toddler pack including cot, high-chair and stairgate. Remember to book your baby/toddler pack when you book your holiday, or at least one month before your holiday commences.
La Manga Club Resort does not specialise in providing holidays for the disabled. None of our properties are equipped to cater for the needs of disabled guests and may give wheelchair users access problems. Please let us know if you have any special needs when you enquire about a property and we will do our best to find the most suitable accommodation for your individual needs. Wheelchairs may be hired locally on a daily basis.
Gardens, pools and general maintenance
All our properties are regularly maintained. Pools are normally checked and cleaned on a regular basis, usually very early in the morning to avoid disruption during your stay. The pool and garden staff do not have fixed hours, so we are unable to advise you on when they might need access. Please be cooperative when staff visit, as we like to keep properties and gardens well maintained for guests to enjoy all year round.
Some properties benefit from a private heated pool. This will be clearly stated in the property description and heating will only be available during the months specified. As they are generally heated electrically they can take up to four days to heat so the heating must be ordered at least a week in advance of your arrival. Pool temperatures will also depend on the weather, especially with solar heating. If a pool cover is provided please use this at night to help maintain the pool temperature. Please ensure that care and attention is taken when using heated pools. A charge will be made for pool heating, payable at time of booking.
Help during your stay
Should you need any help or advice during your stay, contact our Head of Guest Relations during office hours on 0800 678 5104. For out of office hours and weekends contact our managing agent, Resort Management.
We strongly recommend you take out adequate holiday insurance to cover you in the event of cancellation, loss or damage to your own or third party property, and medical and repatriation expenses.
If your property has an ‘infinity’ pool please take extra care with children as there will be an open drop from the pool edge.
Insects, animals and wildlife
The warm Spanish climate means that mosquitoes, cockroaches, ants and other insects can be prevalent, in and around the resort. Please remember to bring a good mosquito repellent with you to protect against bites. Ant powders can be bought on resort but you should also try to avoid dropping crumbs or any food that may attract them. Many of our properties have private gardens and back onto open countryside. Inevitably there will be field mice and other small rodents in the vicinity, along with other local wildlife. Unfortunately, these inconveniences are unavoidable, along with a little night-time noise. Please be patient and understanding should they occur. We would also like to remind you that no pets or animals of any kind are allowed in our rented properties.
The kitchens in our accommodation are furnished by the property owners and therefore the equipment and appliances will vary. Basic cooking utensils, iron, ironing board, cutlery and crockery, will be provided unless stated. Where additional facilities are available these will be detailed in the property description. Please note cleaning products or materials are not generally provided.
We do our best to ensure that all the information we provide on La Manga Club’s leisure facilities is correct and up to date. However we cannot take responsibility for its accuracy as it is based on third-party information. All the facilities and activities listed are provided by the resort, and the management of the resort is responsible for the quality and provision of those facilities, services and staff. Some facilities and activities may not be available at certain times of year, during routine maintenance work or when special events are taking place. Local charges may also apply for some of the facilities.
Please ensure that you pack all your personal possessions before you leave your accommodation. We will try our best to help when items are left behind, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee that any items which have been left unattended will be returned. Just Resorts Limited will not be liable for any items lost or damaged in transit. Postage, packaging and handling fees may be applied for the return of lost property.
We will carry out professional cleaning of your holiday property before you arrive. Fresh linen and towels will be provided on arrival with complimentary towels to use at the beach or pool. Please ensure the property is clean and tidy before you depart or you may incur an end of stay cleaning charge. If your property has a barbecue, please ensure it is left in a clean condition.
Passports and visas
It is your responsibility to ensure you have a valid passport (and visa if applicable). The information provided here is a guide only for British citizens whose passports were issued within the UK. If you are in any doubt please check with the passport office. Anyone who is not a British citizen should consult the Spanish Embassy and the Home Office immigration department to check whether they require any special documentation for visiting Spain, or to return from Spain to the UK. Passport reminder: only full ten-year passports with an additional period of validity (6 months is recommended) following your return travel date are valid for travel overseas. Children now require their own passports. Obtaining a new passport normally takes two weeks by post. For more information contact the passport office on 0300 2220000 or visit their website at www.ukpa.gov.uk.
Personal health and safety
If you, or any other member of your party, is pregnant or has a pre-existing medical condition, you must consult your doctor to see if travelling abroad is advisable. You should also inform us prior to booking as we reserve the right to refuse a booking in these circumstances. The safety of our guests is something that we take extremely seriously. Whilst crime levels on La Manga Club are generally lower than in the UK, please take the same responsibility for your personal safety as you do at home. We would advise you to be vigilant and take measures to safeguard your person and property, especially when off the Resort. All windows, shutters and doors must be locked at night and security devices enabled where provided. Should you lose any valuables during your stay, through theft or other circumstances, you must report the facts immediately to the local police or other advisor and obtain a written report. If a report is not obtained you may find it difficult to make a claim through your holiday insurance.
Safety deposit boxes
Please note that safes are not provided in all of our properties. Should you require a safety deposit box please ask our representative at the time of booking.
Satellite navigation systems
A satellite navigation system may be useful to locate places of interest during your holiday.
Satellite TV, video, DVDs and games consoles
If the property has Satellite television you will find it in the description of the internal features. You can expect to receive at least one free to air English language channel. Subscription channels are not available unless stated in the property description. Your property may only have a standard television, in which case it will only receive local foreign language channels. If the description indicates a DVD, video or games console, you will need to provide your own DVDs and games.
The availability of certain facilities and services, either in your accommodation or on resort, (in particular swimming pools, some restaurants, sports and leisure activities) is subject to seasonal variations. Such facilities and services may be suspended or closed without prior notice.
The majority of properties are equipped with a telephone to dial numbers within the resort, such as sports facilities and restaurants. We recommend that customers take mobile phones in case of an emergency.
We may record for training and quality control purposes.
Please note, transfers are not included in the cost of your booking. However this can be arranged at an additional cost. You will be transferred from the airport to your accommodation upon arrival. You can also book airports transfers separately via our preferred partner at A2B Transfers. The accommodation occupation time is strictly 4.00pm. Should you arrive prior to this time you must wait until 4.00pm to gain entry. You should vacate your accommodation no later than 10.30am on the day of departure.
We recommend taking the advice of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) to ensure you stay safe during your holiday. For more information go to www.fco.gov.uk/knowbeforeyougo or call the FCO Travel Advice Unit on 0845 850 2829.
