Overview

Designed for players aged 19 and under who want to improve their technical, tactical, physical and mental level through an intense 25-hour weekly training programme on clay. Throughout the programme, players will increase their understanding of the game and gain an insight into a pro player’s training regime, helping to maximise their potential.

All major aspects of the game are delivered through a structured programme at the appropriate intensity for the group.  The highly skilled and qualified team of teaching professionals make tuition fun and competitive.  

10am - 1pm & 4pm - 6pm Monday to Friday

The weekly programme includes: 

Monday:          Movement and positioning 
Tuesday:         Forehands and backhand
Wednesday:    Net play
Thursday:       Serve and return
Friday:            Review of all concepts, fun games and presentation

Aspects of the games as listed above are to be used just as a guide.

* Please note that during July and August the Pro Academy will operate to a 15-hour schedule at a reduced rate of £325.

Need to Know

All academies run from Monday to Friday, (except for Weekend Warriors & Weekend Padel)

La Manga Club reserves the right to make any changes without prior notice

Court and facilities cannot be booked in advance by non residents

Resident rates and special discounts apply to guests who book directly with us when staying at the Grand Hyatt La Manga Club Golf & Spa or in one of the Private Rentals.

The maximum number of players per group is 6.

For private clubs and groups, special bespoke packages can be arranged. Please contact Groups Team on 01625 865070 for more details. 

A deposit is required on all rental equipment

*All academies require a minimum of 3 players to run. In the event of the minimum not being reached a bespoke training programme will be put in place to the value of the relevant academy.
