The port of Cartagena has a rich history having been inhabited by several cultures, all leaving their mark on its heritage. Easily reached in less than 30 minutes drive from the resort it is well worth a visit.

There is plenty to keep you busy in Cartagena. A great starting point is Conception Castle where you can learn about the fascinating history of this city and enjoy panoramic views of the urban landscape and natural harbour. Take your time meandering around this beautiful city and take in the impressive architecture, interesting shops, and busy street cafes. Explore the impressive Roman Theatre and Roman Forum district or take a relaxing boat trip around the bay to the Fuerte de Navidad. 

If shopping is what you're looking for the Espacio Mediterraneo shopping centre is located just outside the city and features many well known brands such as Mango, Zara, Primark and H&M.
