Water Sport Holidays
Sailing and Wind Surfing – some of the best weather conditions in Europe!
Aqua Adicta is run by husband and wife team Julian & Lesley Singleton since they moved over from the UK in 2005. Aqua Adicta is situated 10 minutes from La Manga Club Resort on the Mar de Cristal and attracts families with young children and experienced sailors due to the amazing conditions for both sailing and kayaking.
Julian is an RYA Senior Instructor and has taught dinghy sailing in the UK for several years both within RYA recognised centres and freelance. He has been windsurfing for many years and is a very patient teacher.
Lesley is also an experienced sailor and has a keen interest in ornithology and ecology and will provide an insight into the local wildlife while leading kayak trips on the Mar Menor.
Sailing, Windsurfing & SUP (Stand up Paddle) Lessons
Aqua Adicta specialise in high quality private dinghy sailing lessons and windsurfing lessons. Many of their clients are amazed by the progress they make in just one lesson but with the ideal conditions of the Mar Menor and low student instructor ratios you really can progress quickly.
They also offer lessons in SUP (Stand up Paddle), this is a relatively new sport which provides a good workout. It is a great way of building core strength while getting out on the water.
Kayak Safaris & Power Boat Trips
You can also enjoy kayak safaris and power boat trips on the Mar Menor. These are suitable for anyone and are a great way to get out and see the area. Kayak Safaris are a great option for groups of mixed ages whether you are a family group, corporate group or birthday party.
Multi-Activity Packages - Book any 3 activities and pay for only 2
If you can't decide which activity you what to do or fancy trying something new, why not book a multi-activity package? This way you can try all the activities and then decide which you enjoy most. You can tailor make your own package to suit your holiday plans.
The La Manga Strip, located approximately 15 minutes’ drive from La Manga Club Resort, offers the perfect environment to enjoy other water sports such as wake-boarding, jet skiing, water-skiing, kite-surfing and banana and donut riding. Any of these activities can be booked easily at the Independent Activity Centre, La Manga Club or via our Resort Experts on 01625 865 071.
Scuba-diving and Snorkelling
The Mar Menor’s clear, shallow waters are home to a variety of species, making them ideal for exploration by snorkelers. For both experienced, qualified divers and complete beginners, diving in the Mediterranean is an unforgettable experience.
The instructors at Adventure Divers, a small PADI dive centre based on La Manga Club, are helpful and professional, offering organised supervision of shore, boat and wreck dives. Children as young as eight can enjoy ‘Bubble-makers’ – an introduction to diving with an emphasis on safety-first. Guided snorkeling tours are even available for children under 8 years of age.
Water-Skiing, Wakeboarding and Kneeboarding
New for 2018 Aqua Adicta has added water-Skiing, wakeboarding and Kneeboarding to its list of activities. Having been a keen member of the water-ski society at university Julian has been keen to add this to the list of activities and a newly rebuilt speedboat has allowed him to do this! First timers and juniors can try kneeboarding and will very quickly progress to water-skiing and wakeboarding.
High Season (July & August) is very busy and we advise that you book well in advance.
